The successful candidate:
Location: Zion, IL
Schedule: Part-time, 20 hours per week Flexible hours
No weekends, holidays, or on-call shifts
We are seeking a professional and compassionate Ultrasound Technologist to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for a dedicated caregiver who values flexibility and a supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform high-quality ultrasound imaging while maintaining a patient-centered, caring atmosphere.
Operate ultrasound equipment in accordance with safety protocols and regulatory standards.
Accurately document procedures and enter supply charges into the system.
Support and maintain a quality assurance program in compliance with FDA and ACR guidelines.
Qualifications
Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of medical sonography.
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in medical sonography.
At least 6 months of experience assisting with invasive ultrasound-guided procedures alongside a physician.
Required Certifications:
ARDMS certification (one or more specialties).
Current BLS/CPR certification.
Preferred Certifications:
ARDMS certification in Breast Ultrasound.
ARRT credentials are a plus but not required.
