Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Position Summary:
The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) supports the care of an assigned patient population by performing both clinical and administrative tasks under the direction of the Clinic Manager. This role works closely with Medical Oncologists, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants to ensure high-quality, efficient patient care.
The CMA is responsible for delivering care in accordance with established policies and procedures and is expected to provide support across all assigned patient populations. This position reports directly to the Clinic Manager or Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform delegated clinical tasks such as vital signs, specimen collection, and patient preparation
Support administrative functions including scheduling, documentation, and patient communication
Collaborate with providers and nursing staff to ensure seamless patient care
Maintain compliance with all safety, infection control, and confidentiality standards
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Certified or Registered Medical Assistant
Current CPR certification
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a medical/surgical or oncology setting preferred
Prior experience in a medical office setting is desirable
Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills
