City of Hope Medical Group is Seeking a Full-Time Psychologist to Join our Duarte Team

Our nationally recognized National Medical Center is seeking to hire a full-time Psychologist at the Assistant, Associate or Professor level to join our clinical faculty at the Los Angeles site, located in Duarte, California.

We are seeking a clinical, research and mission minded psychologist to work within our interdisciplinary supportive care team that strives to improve the medical, emotional and psychosocial outcomes of our patients during and after cancer treatment.  In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide brief evidence based psychosocial oncology interventions in both the inpatient and outpatient settings in collaboration with our team of specialist physicians, psychiatrists,  nurses, social workers,  and chaplains. By bringing together clinical services, treatments, and the respective multidisciplinary team in one place, we can deliver truly coordinated care in a way that is effective and convenient for our patients.   • Base Salary Range: $144,900k to $175k The range listed is exclusively for base compensation for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits.  Actual compensation will be adjusted for experience, training, hospital/community need and other factors.

Qualifications:

  • Academic record consistent with appointment at Assistant, Associate or Professor level
  • PhD or PsyD from an accredited educational institution  
  • Health Psychology fellowship training and Psychosocial Oncology experience preferred
  • Have or eligible to obtain California license to practice (by start date)
