The Department of Diagnostic Radiology at the City of Hope seeks a fellowship-trained. academic Interventional Radiologist.

The position is for a full time, primarily clinical position, practicing 100% IR  in the Division of Interventional Radiology at a world-renowned comprehensive cancer center. Duties will be primarily at the main Duarte, CA campus. You will work with a team of six other IR attending physicians, two advanced practice providers (APPs), and a group of highly motivated and efficient nurses and technologists. An ideal candidate will be comfortable performing a breadth of IR procedures and have a special interest in Interventional Oncology. Dedicated research time and resources are available for candidates with interest and experience.

 The Division operates two hospital-based angio suites at the Helford Hospital at City of Hope and a separate outpatient fluoroscopy suite on the main Duarte, CA campus. The Division also runs a dedicated IR clinic and full inpatient consult service that is facilitated by IR APPs and support staff.  The IR Division also staffs the City of Hope Irvine, CA campus that operates a state-of-the-art hybrid CT/Angio suite. In addition to this, the Department is scheduled to open two new state-of-the-art angio suites at the Duarte, CA campus in 2025 as part of a 16,000 ft IR expansion with dedicated IR Pre-op and PACU.  Further expansion at the Irvine, CA campus is also planned as part of the City of Hope Orange County Cancer Center.

This position is a unique opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary medical group practice with an emphasis on collegiality and teamwork.

 Position Highlights:

·         100% IR position, performing the breadth of IR with a focus on Interventional Oncology

·         Relocation assistance available

·         Potential for incentive compensation and an excellent benefits package, including a generous retirement contribution plan

· Base Salary Range:  $510,000-$535,000 based on rank and experience (Assistant to Associate Clinical Professor level). The range listed is exclusively for base compensation for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits.  Actual compensation will be adjusted for experience, training, hospital/community need and other factors.

·         Fellowship/integrated residency training in Interventional Radiology (IR) and current or anticipated board certification in IR are required
