The Operations Analyst is responsible for providing analytic support for hospital-wide initiatives, service line development, and new patients. While serving as a critical business partner to Clinical Leaders, the Operations Analyst will help drive high quality, improved patient experience and service line growth. The Analyst will develop and utilize reporting tools necessary to support Clinical Operations to drive service line utilization and achieve strategic business targets.
Additionally, this role will gather data to support metrics and analytics, and exercise discretion and independent judgement to make decisions and recommendations. Also, this role supports data standardization processes and helps develop, maintain, and automate tools and systems to support Clinical department monitoring. The role will be tasked daily with serving as a business partner of choice to provide value added insights to hospital executives and Clinical leadership.
Minimum Education Requirements
Must have a bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or another business-related field.
Minimum Experience Required
1-3 years healthcare finance experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred Key requirements of this role include excellent communication skills, people and process/project management skills, ability to work under tight deadlines and pressure along with the ability to influence people at all levels of the organization.
Must be proficient in use of Microsoft Suite, e.g., Excel and PowerPoint.
Must be able to effectively work independently as well as with others. Must demonstrate strong time-management skills.
Must be detail-oriented, analytical, and inquisitive.
