Certified Medical Assistant

The successful candidate:

Hours: Mon - Fri 8:00 am - 4:30pm

The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) performs delegated patient care tasks for an assigned patient population.  They will perform clinical tasks as well as administrative duties assigned by the Clinic Manager to facilitate the care of patients.   The Certified Medical Assistant performs all responsibilities in accordance with all policy and procedure guidelines. The CMA provides care for all assigned patient populations.  They will function under the direct supervision of the Medical Oncologist, Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for patient care activities.  Their assignments, evaluations and their reporting structure is to the Clinic Manager/Supervisor. 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant

  • CPR Certified

  • Minimum two years medical/surgical or oncology experience preferred

  • Previous office experience desirable
