The Supervisor typically works 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
Responsible for overseeing the management and daily needs of the clinical administrative Pathology staff. Responsible for training and education, hiring/terminating, coaching and performance managing all direct reports. In addition to managing all phases of the administrative support operations, the supervisor is responsible for working with the department leader on a variety of process improvement and special projects.
As a successful candidate, you will:
Manage the day to day activities of the clinical administrative office.
Serve as a liaison between directors, managers, and clinical staff.
Manage and provide oversight to the clinical administrative employees.
Plan, organize and prioritize special projects.
Compile, compute, summarize & analyze data for special reports.
Mentor, coach and performance manage employees.
Diligently review departmental operational workflow and processes to identify opportunities for continued improvement and efficiencies.
Help lead onboarding and offboarding of clinical support staff alongside leadership.
Your qualifications should include:
Bachelor’s Degree or High school diploma (or GED) plus equivalent experience, in addition to the minimum experience requirement, may be used as an equivalent qualification.
6 years of general administrative experience, preferably in an academic or healthcare setting.
1–2 years of experience in a lead or supervisory role with demonstrated ability to lead.
Pathology experience preferred.

Job Status: Full time, exempt
Salary range $72,287 - $120,720
