Pay Rate: $32.0 - $49.6 per hour

A Research Associate II position is available in the Department of Immuno-Oncology. This is a fast-paced lab that aims to novel cancer immunotherapy approaches. This position would be for a research team member to perform animal studies and immune analyses. New personnel will be trained on custom developed animal protocols and immune analysis pipelines.

As a successful candidate, your key responsibilities would include:

·         Tumor inoculations and measurements in animals

·         Animal tissues processing and cell subsets isolation

·         Flow cytometry-based assays for immune analysis

·         Bulk RNA and DNA isolation for next-generation sequencing

·         Single cell RNA sequencing library preparation

·         Facilitate routine laboratory maintenance and organization

·         Essential functions include: communication, collaboration initiative, professionalism, stewardship, and teamwork

·         Bachelor’s degree.  Masters degree preferred

·         2 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 1 year related experience with a Master’s degree.
