Location: Zion, IL (Onsite, not remote)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Oncology Care Coordinator to provide nonclinical support and facilitate seamless coordination between patients, caregivers, physicians, care teams, internal departments, and direct referral sources. As the first point of contact at the welcome desk or for direct referrals, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that patient visits are well-coordinated, driving patient satisfaction, conversion, and retention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the initial point of contact for patients and caregivers.

  • Coordinate appointments and follow-ups to ensure a smooth patient experience.

  • Facilitate communication between patients, caregivers, and the healthcare team.

  • Maintain high levels of organization and coordination to enhance patient satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Two (2) years of customer service experience.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Some knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.

  • Ability to work independently and interact effectively with patients and caregivers.
