The successful candidate:
***Position comes with a $7,500.00 sign-on bonus! Relocation assistance offered! Shift: 4 10s during the week- 7:00AM-5:30PM. CT certified highly preferred! This position is in our Prescott Outpatient Care Center.***
This individual must be able to operate all routine Nuclear Medicine and Positron Emission Tomography equipment in a safe and proficient manner. They must abide by and enforce all JCAHO, federal, state and local regulatory laws, standards and protocols and policies and perform these responsibilities in an ethical manner consistent with the organization's values. This position requires initiative, the ability to make independent judgments and a positive attitude. The candidate must be able to, under the direction of a Nuclear Medicine physician, perform high quality radionuclide imaging and non-imaging studies, including the administration of radiopharmaceuticals, the operation of instruments, the application of various imaging techniques and the positioning of patients to present the maximum amount of diagnostic information. Must be able to handle multiple room assignments and all different types of exams on a daily basis. Must be able to communicate with physicians, patients, families, and ancillary hospital personnel. Will participate in performance improvement initiatives. Will assist with other activities as deemed necessary for the day-to-day operation of the department (i.e. clerical duties, inventory, stocking, light housekeeping duties, etc.). May participate in the training and orientation of other employees. Position may require cross training in additional modalities
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education : High School Graduate or equivalent
Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic Technology training in an AMA approved school
Licensure :
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Nuclear Medicine, ARRT (N), OR Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT)
Registered by the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) Nuclear Medicine
Certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association
