The successful candidate:

Hours: Mon - Fri 40 hrs per week*

*Flexibility outside work hours is required dependent on business needs

The Manager, Environmental Services (EVS) is responsible for the overall management of the EVS program. The Manager is experienced in the healthcare industry and is a subject matter expert on safety and infection prevention protocols and associated regulatory requirements related to the CTCA Environmental Services program. This role requires sound leadership skills and decision-making capabilities to ensure provision of an optimal high-quality and safe environment for patient care. Manages the day-to-day operations of the department and ensures a consistently high level of sanitation, cleanliness and aesthetics to patients, visitors, and staff. 

Minimum Job Qualifications 

Education: High School Diploma or GED; Bachelors’ degree preferred  

Experience:  

  • 3 – 5 years of Environmental Services experience required  

  • Healthcare Environmental Services experience preferred 

  • Prior Management experience required  

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:  

  • Excellent communication skills 

  • Strong leadership ability and customer services skills 

  • Proficient in computer use including Microsoft Office Products  

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
