The successful candidate:
Hours: Monday - Friday 1:00 pm - 9:30pm
Responsible for transportation of patients, caregivers, and administration in extra length vehicles to and from various locations within a 70-mile radius of Zion, Illinois. Assures that the passenger’s needs are met by providing quality customer service, thus creating a maximum comfort level and representing City of Hope in a professional and positive way.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of 6 months of driving with passengers
Familiarity with the Chicago land area or ability to read and comprehend road maps.
Valid driver’s license for the state the employee resides in.
Valid DOT medical (currently in possession or will need to obtain upon hire)
Excellent driving record for past three (3) years
Sound judgment and quick decision making when presented with inclement weather, ill passengers, traffic, etc.
Good interpersonal/customer service skills
Working knowledge of Defensive Driving rules of the road and techniques
