The successful candidate:
***Shift: M-F 8:00AM-4:30PM***
The position performs all technical duties of a pharmacy technician in addition to providing direct supervision and coordination of all technicians and duties by actively participating in departmental operations within the scope of policies and procedures. This position works under the direct legal supervision of a pharmacist or pharmacist manager. The position requires the ability to make critical decisions, facilitate stakeholder conflict resolution, work independently with minimal supervision, and solve problems. Three distinct areas of core responsibilities are defined: Administrative Automation, packaging, and sterile compounding Purchasing and inventory management.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience: Two years within the last five years in a comparable job classification with chemotherapy compounding experience.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Licensure: Current Arizona pharmacy technician license
Certification: National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB)
