Pay Rate: $33.8 - $55.62 per hour

The Supervisor, Charge Capture plays a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely charge entry across the CAP sites. This leader oversees a team of charge capture specialists and is responsible for driving productivity, maintaining high-quality standards, and implementing best practices that align with organizational goals. The Supervisor is responsible for identifying trends impacting charge capture and communicating with the sites supported. The Supervisor must be capable of mentoring the team while setting an example consistent with COH mission, vision, value and bond. The Supervisor must have strong understanding of CPT/HCPCS and CMS/payer billing guidelines. Reporting to the Senior Revenue Integrity Manager, this role is pivotal in optimizing revenue cycle performance and compliance.

As a successful candidate, you will:

  • Team Leadership and Oversight

  • Supervise and mentor a team of charge capture professionals across multiple facilities

  • Monitor daily operations to ensure timely and accurate charge entry

  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching for continuous improvement

  • Operational Excellence

  • Develop and implement standardized workflows, policies, and procedures for charge capture

  • Establish productivity benchmarks and quality metrics to measure team performance

  • Collaborate with clinical and financial departments to resolve charge discrepancies

  • Quality and Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines and internal audit standards

  • Perform routine audits to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement

  • Partner with Revenue Integrity leadership to support compliance initiatives

  • Reporting and Communication

  • Provide regular updates to the Senior Revenue Integrity Manager on team performance and operational issues

  • Prepare and present data-driven reports on productivity, quality, and charge capture outcomes

  • Serve as a liaison between charge capture staff and other departments

  • Participates in yearly budget preparation for the sites supported

  • Other duties as assigned

Your qualifications should include:

  • Must have high school diploma/GED

  • 3 year Charge Capture or Coding experience in Hospital or Physician healthcare setting and 2 years of lead/supervisory experience

Preferred:

  • Associates degree in field is desirable

  • BA/BS degree Preferred

  • Epic Revenue Integrity, Hospital and/or Professional Billing (Resolute)

  • Training Courses in Strategic Pricing, Billing and Regulatory Compliance, Revenue Cycle

  • Prior Supervisory experience or demonstrated experience leading teams or initiatives is required

  • Must have 3 years of Charge Capture/Revenue Cycle experience in a hospital or physician healthcare setting
