The successful candidate:
Hours are 11 am - 9pm, 4x 10hr shifts, rotating off days
The Central Supply Technician performs and participates in the decontamination, inspection, cleaning,
assembling and packaging of surgical materials to include, but not limited to, instruments and equipment
according to established standards and procedures to ensure a sterile and functioning supply of materials.
Education/Experience Level
High School Graduate or equivalent
Minimum 3 years Sterile Processing experience
Certification from the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) or Certification from IAHCSMM as a Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) required
Knowledge and Skills
Proper cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing of equipment is necessary
Knowledge of proper sterilizing equipment reporting required
