Pay Rate: $44.9 - $69.6 per hour

This role will turn complex Epic data into meaningful reporting and insights that support financial, reimbursement, and operational decision-making. This position is responsible for providing financial analysis, reimbursement support, and strategic insight to advance organizational goals and payer-related initiatives. The role evaluates financial and reimbursement information, supports the development and assessment of reimbursement strategies, and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to support effective decision-making and organizational objectives. This position also provides subject matter expertise, contributes to process improvement initiatives, and supports the development of financial models, analyses, and recommendations for leadership.

As a successful candidate, you will:

  • Performs complex financial analysis and develops financial models to support reimbursement strategies, organizational planning, and business decision-making.

  • Collects, organizes, analyzes, and visualizes financial, reimbursement, and operational data to identify trends, variances, risks, and opportunities.

  • Uses advanced analysis - including data mining, statistical methods, report development, and presentations - to generate insights and actionable recommendations.

  • Identifies and recommends improvements to data quality, reporting processes, analytical tools, and overall reporting effectiveness.

  • Ensures the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data used in financial models, analytical tools, dashboards, and reporting.

  • Partners with internal and external stakeholders to gather information, validate assumptions, resolve analytical issues, and advance financial and reimbursement initiatives. Prepares recurring and ad hoc analyses, reports, and presentations for leadership and other stakeholders.

  • Demonstrates strong critical thinking skills to evaluate complex information, challenge assumptions, identify root causes, and develop well-supported conclusions and recommendations.

  • Performs other assigned duties and special projects.

Your qualifications should include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.

  • 5 years of progressive accounting and/or finance experience.

  • Preferred:

  • Health Care industry.

  • Experience analyzing contract rates, reimbursement methodologies, and risk arrangements to support financial evaluation and decision-making.

  • Experience working with Epic data, including familiarity with the Clarity data model and revenue cycle-related data.

  • Familiarity with Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) environments and data dictionaries, including methods for identifying and locating relevant tables and fields.
