We’re seeking an innovative Regional Information Officer to define and lead the vision for a regional technology infrastructure that powers patient care, groundbreaking science, and translational research at City of Hope.
In this strategic leadership role, you will:
- Provide the vision and leadership to develop an integrated technology ecosystem across assigned regions
- Ensure the continuous, secure, and efficient delivery of IT systems that enable cutting-edge care and innovative research
- Partner with senior leadership to evolve governance, technology structure, and operational strategy to meet current and future needs
- Collaboratively develop and operationalize a regional IT strategic plan, ensuring alignment with enterprise-wide goals

💡 As a Successful Candidate, You will:
- Create, refine, and execute the regional IT plan to meet current and future organizational needs
- Build an integrated and coordinated IT services environment that drives innovation and operational excellence
- Develop and maintain a regional business recovery plan to ensure system resilience and continuity of care
- Strengthen information security and privacy programs, safeguarding sensitive data while enabling access where needed
- Collaborate with City of Hope leadership and enterprise technology groups to establish consistent processes, policies, and governance
- Build and nurture relationships with physicians, scientists, and regional leaders to ensure IT solutions empower research, education, and patient care
- Oversee resource allocation, vendor relationships, and cost management to maximize value and impact
🎯 Your Qualifications Should Include:
- Master’s degree or MBA preferred
- 15 years of IT experience with 10 years in senior leadership roles
- Proven success in setting technology standards, defining service levels, and delivering enterprise IT strategy
- Recognized for leading by example and building high-performing, collaborative teams
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, develop, and retain top talent while fostering a culture of innovation
- Expertise in vendor and consultant management with a focus on optimizing enterprise solutions
- A user-focused mindset with a track record of enhancing end-user experience through innovative technology
