Pay Rate: $34.0 - $37.55 per hour

A Postdoctoral Fellowship opportunity is available in the lab of Dr. Zhao Wang.  The central goal of the Department of Diabetes and Cancer Metabolism is the interface between cancer treatment and metabolic syndrome. Leveraging multiomics, mouse genetics, hiPS cells, and electrophysiology, the lab works on molecular mechanism of cardiometabolic oncology.

As a successful candidate you will:

·         Focus on metabolic regulations of cardiovascular disease under cancer treatment and metabolic syndrome

·         Utilize multiple cutting-edge technologies, including spatial transcriptomics and single nuclei multiomics, to dissect the molecular mechanisms of cardiomyopathy under diabetes, cancer, and pressure overload.

Your qualifications should include:

·         PhD or M.D.

·         Ample experiences in mouse genetics

·         Specialized in small animal surgeries

·         Training in molecular and cellular biology
