The Department of Population Sciences at City of Hope is in search of a Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC).
As a successful candidate, you will:
- Compile, register and submit study data, monitor department databases, and maintain a system of effective data flow associated with research protocols.
- Assist in managing multi-faceted data analysis projects, which include preparation and quality control of the data as well as result tabulation and assisting with manuscript preparation.
- Take a lead role in preparing new studies for IRB review and assists study staff to maintain regulatory compliance.
- Serve as a resource for clinical research assistants and as a liaison between faculty and staff.
- Serve as a technical resource for the department and assists in training of new staff members.
- Function independently and proficiently as defined in the position accountabilities.
Your qualifications should include:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree; Certified Clinical Research Associate (CCRA) or Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) may substitute in lieu of degree; 3 additional years of experience plus the minimum experience requirement may substitute for minimum education.
- Minimum Experience: At least three years of experience working as a Clinical Research Assistant/Associate or Data Manager or related work.
- Experience managing multiple tasks.
Preferred education, experience, and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience with Medical Record, Health Information Systems, Clinical Trials or related health field.
- Prefer certification through the Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA) or the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP). If individual has neither of the two certifications, individual can obtain one of the two certifications within 12 months of their hire date.
