Pay Rate: $26.48 - $38.25 per hour

Join us as a Clinical Research Assistant I where you will support clinical studies that bridge the gap between innovative scientific discoveries and improved patient outcomes.

As a successful candidate, you will:

  • Conduct background research, write and develop new clinical research protocols.

  • Conduct protocol management for an assigned set of multiple research protocols, orientation, screening, and educational programs.

  • Maintain current and accurate protocol documentation and be aware of the timeliness of regulatory documents.

  • Ensure that patients are appropriately scheduled and registered; maintain documentation of patient registration.

  • Compile and submit data on appropriate forms according to protocol requirements.

  • Help train and mentor new clinical research staff members.

  • Establish and maintain interpersonal relationships with patients, visitors, and other hospital personnel, while assuring confidentiality of patient information.

  • Collect and deliver specimens for analysis, using appropriate or specified equipment for collecting and handling specimens.

  • Work with physician or nurse to see that protocol related tests and evaluations are ordered per protocol guidelines.

Your qualifications should include:

  • Associate’s Degree.

  • Experience may substitute for minimum education requirements.

  • Read, identify, and extract pertinent data from medical records.

  • Ability to read, write and comprehend medical terminology.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree.

  • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) such as EPIC; Clinical Trials Management Systems (CTMS) such as OnCore, LabVantage and RedCap.
