The successful candidate:
Hours: Mon - Fri 8 am - 4:30pm
The Physical Therapist performs evaluation, screening, develops a plan of care, and provides direct patient care.
Independently develop and implement a physical therapy treatment program utilizing judgment to modify plan of care with a patients changing medical conditions.
Conducts educational in-service on benefits of Physical Therapy to patients/families, other disciplines (hospital staff), and to the community. Non-patient related duties include, but is not limited to, assisting in clerical duties of the department, posting charges, & light housekeeping duties within the Rehabilitation Department. Works under the general and direct supervision of the director and manager of the rehabilitation services department.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's in physical therapy with minimum of 2 years’ experience: Masters or DPT degree preferred
• Current Illinois License granted by the Department of Financial and Professional Regulation from the State of Illinois
• Candidate with an approval letter from the Continental Testing services, Inc. for PT licensure examination. In accordance with Section 90/2(2) of the Illinois Physical Therapy Act of 1987, which stipulates that the Act does not prohibit the practice of physical therapy by one who has applied in writing to the Department in form and substance satisfactory to the Department for a license as a physical therapist/physical therapist assistant, and has complied with all the provisions under Section 90/8 and 90/8.1, except taking the examination. Anyone failing to pass said examination shall not be permitted to practice physical therapy until such time as an examination has been successfully passed by such person and has received the license to practice

Pay Range
$37.82 - $62.28Placement within the identified pay range is based on individual and market factors including, but not limited to, experience, education, credentials (including licenses and certifications), geographic location, market competition, skill set (including market availability of required skills), assigned/anticipated job tasks, and level of responsibility. These factors are considered without regard to an individual’s status as a member of any protect group pursuant to federal, state, and/or local law.
