The VP, Technology Business Officer will be responsible for creating and driving the strategic direction, leading the transformation office, and managing the business of the Digital organization. This role will be responsible for establishing an operations strategic plan, establishing governance structure and process to drive overall Operations transformation, and responsible for driving consistency across Digital Operations for analytics, knowledge management, methods, tools, and processes. This role will also lead the business management office, program management office, portfolio management, and risk/compliance for the organization.
As a successful candidate, you will:
Strategic Alignment, Integration and Optimization:
- Align work efforts in collaboration with enterprise executives to ensure efficient execution incorporating (but not limited to) change management.
- Facilitate the architecture, governance, and execution of other executive leadership bodies to accelerate the transition to an integrated enterprise initiative.
- Focus on collaborative integrated enterprise experience through a “system thinking” approach to initiatives.
- Develop and assure accomplishment of goals and deliver outcomes through shared accountability across the applicable leadership committees.
- Engage with committee leadership to ensure meeting performance is on target with expectations.
- Identify and bring forward challenges and barriers to committee alignment success. Revise strategy, best practices and standards in accordance with learnings.
- Partner with other leadership committees to ensure enterprise connectedness and alignment.
- Provide integration across functions, delivering an enterprise perspective in support of setting and executing priorities for leadership committees.
- May have responsibilities for, training, utilization, development and performance of staff.
Vertical and Enterprise Leadership:
- Lead the engagement and partnership with cross functional constituents, as applicable, to ensure relevant input to committed vertical governance.
- Cultivate strong, positive and collaborative relationships with leadership and staff at all levels to ensure credibility and buy-in for leadership committees and structure, and drive transformation processes that sustain organizational goals and change.
Strategic Partner/Consultant to Senior Officer:
- Provide thought leadership to the senior officer on enterprise direction and strategic projects.
- Advisor to key enterprise leaders as needed to support large functional initiatives and as requested on matters requiring cross-functional implementation and execution.
Your qualifications should include:
- B.S. degree in business, computer science or related field.
- 15 years of progressively more responsible roles in high-level leadership roles in IT operations, including leading development of strategy and successfully executing same within large scale, highly reliable national or global IT operations, including experience in healthcare IT
- 10 years’ experience with C-suite level executives, hospital operations, strategy, project management, or related experience.
- 7 years of experience leading senior level teams, developing/implementing team management methodologies, and standardized approaches to execute and carry out enterprise initiatives.
