Pay Rate: $33.0 - $51.15 per hour

A Research Associate II position is available in the lab of Dr. Christine Brown of the T Cell Therapeutics Research Laboratories (TCTRL). This is a fast-paced lab involved in cutting-edge technology, research and clinical immunotherapeutic programs.We will train new personnel in project specific techniques and procedures.Work hours may vary. As a successful candidate, you will:

  • Perform tissue culture using aseptic techniques for media preparation, cell passaging, maintenance, and cryopreservation (e.g., T cell lines).

  • Conduct T cell functional assays such as cytotoxicity and cytokine production assays, as well as ELISAs.

  • Carry out cell staining for multicolor flow cytometry and analyze flow cytometry data.

  • Perform murine surgical procedures and prepare/harvest tissues.

  • Assist in revising and maintaining laboratory protocols.

  • Provide routine laboratory support and maintenance in alignment with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) standards.

Your qualifications should include:

  • Bachelor’s degree. Master’s degree preferred.

  • Two years related research/ laboratory experience with a Bachelor’s degree or one year related research/ laboratory experience with a Master’s degree.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with cellular immunology and standard good laboratory practices (GLP) desired.

  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in lab work as well as accurate recordkeeping and lab documentation are a must.
