A Research Associate II position is available within light microscopy and image analysis in the Light Microscopy and Digital Imaging Core facility working with the Director, Brian Armstrong, Ph.D. This position is for someone who enjoys working with people and helping scientists to achieve their imaging goals. You will be required to teach and assist others in the proper use of high quality computer operated microscope systems to include widefield, Confocal, and 2-photon microscope systems.
As a successful candidate you will:
· Train people on the use of high-end microscope systems.
· Support imaging experiments from beginning to end including image analysis.
Your qualifications should include:
· Bachelor’s degree. Masters degree preferred
· 2 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 1 year related experience with a Master’s degree.
· Interest in computers and analysis preferred.
