Pay Rate: $25.76 - $29.88 per hour

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Research Assistant I to join our microbiome research lab. The ideal candidate will contribute to studies focused on culturomics and mouse modeling.

As a successful candidate, you will:

  • Perform culturomics techniques, including anaerobic and aerobic culturing methods.
  • Isolate and characterize microbiome species using microbial identification techniques and genomic analysis.
  • Manage and care for laboratory mice, including monitoring health, administering treatments, and preparing biological samples.
  • Maintain detailed records of experimental procedures, results, and protocols.
  • Collaborate with team members to analyze data and contribute to publications.
  • Support general laboratory operations, including inventory management and equipment maintenance.

Your qualifications should include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in biological sciences.
  • 0-2 years of research/laboratory experience.
