Pay Rate: $40.82 - $63.27 per hour

City of Hope is seeking a talented and data-driven Quality Data Analyst to support our Quality, Risk and Regulatory Management team. In this high-impact role, you'll transform complex healthcare data into meaningful insights that help improve patient care, operational performance, and quality outcomes across the organization. You'll develop reports, dashboards, scorecards, and key performance indicators while partnering with clinical and operational leaders to drive informed decision-making.

This is an exciting opportunity for an analytical professional who thrives on solving complex problems, identifying trends, and leveraging data to improve healthcare delivery.

As a successful candidate, you will:

  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, scorecards, KPIs, and analytical models that support quality and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Analyze complex healthcare data from multiple sources, including the Enterprise Data Warehouse and clinical systems.
  • Create and manage SQL tables, views, stored procedures, and advanced queries to support reporting and analytics needs.
  • Monitor performance metrics, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to support leadership decision-making.
  • Gather and evaluate benchmarking data from Vizient, public reporting sites, and other industry resources.
  • Support quality improvement initiatives through data analysis, statistical evaluation, and performance measurement.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing leaders, quality teams, and operational stakeholders to communicate findings and recommend opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain and enhance quality, risk, regulatory, and patient safety databases and reporting systems.
  • Participate in data governance, metadata management, and enterprise data initiatives.
  • Utilize Lean methodologies and performance improvement tools to help optimize processes and outcomes.

Your qualifications should include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Business, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
  • 3-5 years of analytics, reporting, healthcare data, or business intelligence experience.
  • Experience working with relational databases and advanced SQL development, including tables, views, stored procedures, and query design.
  • Strong analytical, statistical, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience creating dashboards, scorecards, and data visualizations.
  • Ability to interpret complex data and present meaningful insights to clinical and operational audiences.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of healthcare operations, quality metrics, medical terminology, and healthcare data preferred.
  • Experience with Tableau or similar analytics platforms.
  • CPHQ and/or Lean/Six Sigma certification preferred

Additional Information:

Job Status: Full time, exempt

Salary range $84,905 - $131,605
