Job Summary
The Principal Engineer works closely with executive leadership to lead a team of engineers in strategic and day-to-day solution delivery, ensuring all service level agreements and customer satisfaction goals are achieved. The Principal Engineer is the subject matter expert across the complete lifecycle of cloud operations to ensure maximum performance, reliability, and scalability of the enterprise cloud infrastructure. The Principal Engineer is the functional leader of engineering activities such as but not limited to: development and configuration patterns, practices, standards, and workflows, automation frameworks, and solution design.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Computer Information Systems preferred
7+ years of experience building distributed systems in an enterprise environment
5+ years of experience supporting Cloud-based distributed systems
5+ years of software development and engineering services technical experience
5+ years of experience in Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery pipeline engineering
Microsoft Certifications: Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer preferred
AWS Certifications: Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer preferred
IT experience within a multi-facility healthcare organization preferred
Pay Range
$120,170.00 - $210,662.00Placement within the identified pay range is based on individual and market factors including, but not limited to, experience, education, credentials (including licenses and certifications), geographic location, market competition, skill set (including market availability of required skills), assigned/anticipated job tasks, and level of responsibility. These factors are considered without regard to an individual’s status as a member of any protect group pursuant to federal, state, and/or local law.
