A Postdoctoral Fellowship opportunity is immediately available in the research group of Dr. Sumanta Pal, at the Beckman Research Institute and Department of Medical Oncology of City of Hope. You will directly work on projects focused on genitourinary cancers, specifically kidney, bladder, and prostate cancers.

As a successful candidate you will:
· Develop and maintain clinical and translational research trials in genitourinary cancers
· Collect, analyze, and maintain large databases pertaining to genitourinary cancers
· Develop and submit grant applications to federal and foundational entities to fund projects
· Collaborate with internal and external research teams, laboratories, and pharmaceutical companies
· Draft original research and review articles and publish in peer reviewed journals
· Develop and present abstracts at national and international conferences
Your qualifications should include:
- A Ph.D. or M.D. degree in life or biomedical sciences, or a related discipline is required, though an M.D. and completion of an internal medicine residency is preferred
- Experience in medical oncology is preferred
- A solid understanding of statistical methods and clinical and translational research procedures.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
