Physician Infectious Disease Irvine, CA

City of Hope Medical Group seeks an Infectious Disease Physician to provide services for our Irvine campus, joining our two full-time Infectious Disease faculty members at a rapidly expanding, nationally recognized cancer institute. We seek to hire a full-time clinical faculty member at the Assistant-Associate Professor level who is mission minded and will provide exceptional patient centered care. DUTIES

  • Clinical time is divided between inpatient and outpatient services
  • Contributions to Antimicrobial Stewardship and Infection Control efforts at LFCC
  • Opportunities for clinical research

PAY & BENEFITS

  • Excellent benefits package, including a generous retirement contribution plan
  • Relocation assistance may be available
  • Base Salary Range: Assistant level: $210K-$215K Associate level: $215K-$224K*The salary range listed is exclusively for base compensation for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits. Actual compensation will be adjusted for experience, training, hospital/community need and other factors.

  • M.D. or D.O. from an accredited educational institution
  • Board certified/eligible in Infectious Diseases
  • *Experience in transplant infectious disease or 1-2 years working within hematologic malignancies *preferred but not required
  • Possession of, or eligibility for, unrestricted medical license in the State of California
