This position will be located in Irvine.
As a successful candidate, you will:
Provide music therapy services to City of Hope patients as appropriate and upon referral by Physician. You will focus on providing direct patient care. As a certified music therapist, will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team including but not limited to the Integrative Medicine Medical Director, nurse practitioners, social workers, physical therapists, psychiatrists, pain management and palliative care clinics, and clinical researchers. You will engage with oncology patients, couples, and families, through therapeutic music activities both individually and in a group setting.
Your qualifications should include:
Graduated from an American Music Therapy Association approved University, acquiring a bachelor’s degree or higher in Music Therapy.
Minimum Experience:2-3 years of experience working as a music therapist.
Req. Certification/Licensure:Board Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC)
