Pay Rate: $81.03 - $135.32 per hour

Provides strategic leadership for the Community Pharmacy Program, overseeing the planning, coordination, and delivery of safe, efficient, and high-quality infusion services, including investigational drug services. Drives clinical, operational, and research initiatives that promote medication safety, regulatory compliance, and quality patient outcomes across City of Hope community sites. Leads staff development and education, ensures the appropriate use and distribution of medications, and maintains compliance with all licensing and regulatory standards to support excellence in patient care.
As a successful candidate, you will:
Develop, obtain approval, and achieve program goals; ensure appropriate use of medications; manage initiatives to plan and remain compliant with regulations and requirements governing safe and effective practice.
Ensure ongoing compliance with USP 797 and USP 800; work with leadership on incorporating any needed changes based on update of these standards; ensure ongoing competency of Pharmacist, Pharmacy Tech and RN staff involved with preparation of infusion/injection products.
Work with COH Leadership, Nursing Leadership, physicians, pharmacists, and other department managers and key committees to promote safe and effective patient outcomes through advance clinical programs.
Work with IDS on Duarte campus, COH Leadership, Practice and Nursing Leadership, physicians, and pharmacists to promote safe and effective use of investigational drugs that meet regulatory standards. Improve investigational drug processes. Promote research collaborations with Physicians, and Research Staff.
Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
Your qualifications should include:
Doctor of Pharmacy Degree (Pharm.D.)
Three years in pharmacy including Clinic experience and experience in leading or supervisory capacity
Current CA Pharmacist License
ASHP Accredited PGY-1 Residency and PGY-2, preferred
