- Independently carry out the following tests: EEG's (adults and children), evoked potentials (visual, auditory, somatosensory, cognitive), audiograms, visual fields, and all other studies within their scope of practice
- Assist physician in monitor and sensory nerve conduction tests, and EMG's. Reports findings or concerns to reading physician for prompt interpretation
- Work with the multidisciplinary team and other departments such as IT to assure that software updates for the neuro equipment occur in a timely manner.
- Perform clerical duties as required including scheduling of procedures, archiving of studies, and charge entry.
- High School or equivalent
- Two years of experience performing neurological studies
- Registered EEG Technologist Certificate within 2 years of hire/ transfer
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Hourly Per Diem Rate: $43.216950
